Ten games have come and gone for the Cedar Valley CourtKings (9-1) in the 2019 Midwest Basketball League season. With six games to go in the regular season, the CourtKings return home after a two game road trip over Memorial Day weekend to kick off a four-game homestand in June, beginning with a showdown with the Rochester Roadrunners (1-9) on June 1.
It’s been six weeks since the CourtKings and Roadrunners met for their first game of the season in southern Minnesota. That day it was Cedar Valley who claimed victory by a final score of 131-114 on April 20. In the win, five Cedar Valley players finished with double digit scoring figures. Brady Burford finished the day with a team-high 30 points in the win, as Emeche Wells scored 24. Aundre Hicks scored 19 points, David Stanley tallied 18 and Anthony James recorded 17 points, including five baskets from downtown.
Doors to the Cedar Valley SportsPlex will open at 6:30PM for the 7:30PM tip-off. Tickets are available for purchase at the door upon entry or online at cvcourtkings.com.
