Wednesday, January 20, 2016 is a day to remember for Cedar Valley sports fans. As the anticipation grows for the inaugural season of the Midwest Basketball League, so does the need to field a roster. The Cedar Valley CourtKings addressed this demand by signing former UNI standout Marvin Singleton.
Singleton, a Minneapolis native, became the first player to sign with Cedar Valley CourtKings in its brief history. The 22-year-old finished his UNI Basketball career in 2015, averaging 4.7 points and 4.9 rebounds his senior season, paving the way for a school-record 31 win campaign1.
The CourtKings will continue signing players through the winter and plan to host their first open door tryout session on Sunday, January 24, 2016. More information for the tryout session can be found by clicking here.
