WATERLOO, Iowa—The Cedar Valley CourtKings (4-3) are heading on the road this week to face the Minnesota Broncos (2-5). The game is set to tip-off Saturday, June 25, in St. Paul at 7 p.m. at the Oxford Community Center.
This will be the second time the CourtKings and the Broncos meet. The CourtKings defeated the Broncos, 111-71 in the inaugural home opener on May 15.
In the last meeting, four CourtKings were able to reach double figures. Andre Norris led the CourtKings with 18 points while Houston had 16. Marvin Singleton and Lamar Wall each chipped in 15. Singleton added eight rebounds and five assists while LaDon Singleton had 13 boards.
Players to Watch
Lamar Wall is averaging 14.4 points per game and just under 3 rebounds.
Alex Coleman is averaging 8.1 points per game and 6.3 rebounds in each contest.
Owner and GM of the CourtKings, Gary Rima says, “I look for breakout games from both of them after their numbers have been down a little bit the last couple of games.”
The Chicago Fury head to St Paul to face the Minnesota Rangers for a game starting at 1 p.m.
The Wisconsin Storm is playing host to the Lincoln Lions on June 18, with tip-off at 3 p.m.
In the East, the Northern Indiana Monarchs and the Hamilton Heroes tip off at 5 p.m. on June 18. The Indiana Fury head to meet the Dayton AirStrikers on June 18, with tip-off at 7 p.m.
