Cedar Valley CourtKings rookie and University of Dubuque star Andre Norris has signed to play pro basketball in Spain. Norris signed with C.B. Clavijo a professional team based team based in Logroño, La Rioja, Spain.
After a great career at the University of Dubuque where Andre was named the Iowa Conference player of the year the past two seasons and a D-3 All American he signed on to play for the Cedar Valley CourtKings. The CourtKings are a first year minor league basketball team playing in the Midwest Basketball League, a spring/summer league.
For the CourtKings Norris averaged 19.2 points per game, 6.2 rebounds while shooting 54% from the floor and 33% from the 3 point arch. Norris was twice named the MBL West Division player of the week and earned 3rd team honors is the MBL post season awards..
C.B. Clavijo plays in the 2nd level of 3 levels of professional basketball in Spain.
