I watched this team play a couple of times and I tell you they have one heck of a coach, Gary Rima got the right guy for this team. This man has come in and done a great job and I watched him when he was at the prep school and his style of coaching is pretty impressive. I don’t see how the high schools in this area didn’t snatch this guy up because he works very well with kids. And he has to be good at what he does because he won back to back championships at the prep school and to my understanding that prep school has had numerous coaches since he left and he was doing a wonderful job there. I wish he was still at the prep school because he did a great job, and he was putting Iowa basketball n the map. We use to have some great teams here in Iowa especially in the Waterloo area. Waterloo schools should really missed out on a hidden gem I think, and these kids would be in a better situation basketball wise.
